This premium program includes all the necessary applications of fertilizer, insecticide, fungicide, and pre & post emergent herbicides.

Program - Advantages

Fertilizer only applied when required. Heaviest amount of fertilizer applied in the fall as recommended by Ohio State University & The Ohio Turfgrass Foundation.

One of the few lawn programs available using Barricade as the pre-emergent weed control. Barricade is the best product to use because it provides season long weed control. Most other pre-emergent weed control products being applied by other companies only work for 90 days.

Post emergent control of broadleaf weeds.

Nutgrass control is included.

Grub control & fungicide included as needed.

Free service calls for needs particular to your lawn.

Aeration not included but can be added as an option.

“Denny McKeown Basic” Lawn Program

This program is the basic foundation of a good lawn care program. It provides four applications as listed below. Program follows recommendations of Ohio State University & the Ohio Turfgrass Foundation.

Spring

An application of Barricade pre-emergent along with a light feeding.

Summer

A single application of post emergent control of weeds.

Fall

Two feedings of quick release high Nitrogen fertilizer at the rate of 1.5 lbs per 1000 square feet. Fall fertilization has been proven to be the most beneficial to the lawn. The benefits of the fall feeding will be seen immediately as well as the following spring.

This program does not include insect, fungus, or nutgrass control. You will have the option to pay for individual service calls to address these issues. The price of the service call will vary dependent upon the problem.

SIMPLE STEPS OF SIGNING UP

1. Call the office of Denny McKeown Inc. at 513-984-8733.They will get the necessary information.

2. This information will be given to Lloyd Royse’s Lawn Care plus Sports Turf company who does our applications.

3. Lloyd will go to your home to measure and evaluate your lawn.

4. Lloyd will leave you a price for both programs based upon the size of your yard.

5. To sign up for the Denny McKeown program follow instructions on the estimate received from Royse’s Lawn Care.

6. Denny McKeown Inc. will send all new customers who sign up for the Best program a $20 gift card for the Bloomin Garden Centre. Receive a $10 gift card for signing up for the Basic program.

This step gives your lawn quick release Nitrogen with Iron to strengthen your lawn after the long hot summer.

Step 2- A 2nd application of Fertilome’s Lawn Food with Iron.
Apply in Mid to Late November.

This is a second application of quick release nitrogen and iron. During this time of the year the grass absorbs and stores the nutrients, keeping your lawn green through the winter. The grass plants will use the nutrients the following spring as necessary.

Step 3- Fertilome’s All Season Lawn Food w/ Barricade
Apply in March or April 2008.

This application gives your lawn a light feeding combined with the pre-emergent herbicide Barricade. Barricade is the best pre-emergent available because it gives your lawn up to 8 months of weed seed prevention.
