| AZALEA- GIRARD’S SERIES Popular & hardy variety of evergreen Azaleas. Avg, size 4’ tall & 5’ wide. Bloom in mid to late April. “Crimson”- Deep red - Fuschia”- Lavender- purple - “Hot Shot”- Bright Red - “Pleasant White”- White “Karen”- Hardiest Azalea for our area. Beautiful Lavender flower. One of first Azaleas to bloom. Usually flowers in early to mid April. 4’-5’ tall and wide can be maintained at smaller sizes. “Kimberly’s Double Pink Azalea” Avg. size will grow to about 6’ wide and produces double flowers. “Sweet Sixteen Azalea” Soft pearl pink blooms in early spring. | Forsythia intermedia “Gold Tide”- Heavy blooming dwarf variety of Forsythia. Very colorful in a mass planting and also makes a great groundcover. Will spread 4’ but only get 24” tall. Forsythia intermedia “Lynwood Gold” Early spring flowering shrub upright and spreading. Branches grow up then turn horizontal. Golden blooms on this plant continue along the stem and open very wide. If left to grow its average size can grow up to 8’ tall and 8’ wide, or with proper pruning can be kept smaller. Will tolerate some shade but will flower and grow best when it is planted in the full sun. Forsythia ‘Northern Gold’- Northern Gold Forsythia has gray-yellow branches with spectacular golden yellow flowers. Shrub becomes as tall as 6-8’ and as wide as 5-7’ and can be kept smaller with pruning following the blooms. The Northern Gold’s early spring color is a great welcome of the changing seasons. Performs best with at least six hours of sunlight a day. |

| Syringa meyeri palabin “Dwarf Korean Lilac” Compact growing variety. Blooms heavily very fragrant violet-purple flower clusters. Blooms start in mid-May and last well into June. Avg. size 4’-5’ tall and wide. Syringa patula “Miss Kim Lilac” Compact growing variety of Lilac. Long, wide, deep green foliage, produces fragrant, violet- purple flower clusters very heavily. Start blooming in mid May and last well into June. Avg size will only get 4’-5’ tall and wide. Syringa vulgaris ‘Sensation’ Single purple florets, distinctive pure white border and blue-green foliage. Outstanding and unique lilac that is rarely to never fed on by Japanese beetles. Height: 8-10’ Width: 8-12’ Syringa vulgaris “Common Lilac” Upright growing variety of Lilac. It is the large, old fashioned variety. Produces large, purple flowers in late April. Will grow over 8’ tall and 8’ wide. Can be used as a large shrub, or as a small tree. Will bloom best when they are planted in the full sun, and pruning is kept to a minimum. Syringa ‘Pocahontas’- Floriferous with deep maroon-purple buds that open into single, deep violet flowers with a strong fragrance. Will bloom prior to the French Lilacs. Extremely vigorous, hardy plant with attractive dark green foliage. Can grow to a height of 10-12’ with a comparable spread. Syringa ‘Donald Wyman’- Purple buds that open to single, red-purple fragrant flowers in early to mid-June. Blooms two weeks later than the common lilacs. 8-10’ tall and 4-10’ wide. |
