An organic control for slugs, snails, snails,aphids, and spidemites. The Diatomaceous earth is like a dusting powder, but to the insects, it's like tiny razors. It is harmless to people, animals, and birds.

Apply after a rain, or after spraying a light mist of water. Dusting should be done so that all the stems and leaves have been covered top and bottom.

Diatomaceous earth is also a good lawn insecticide. Applied four times a year at rate of 25 lbs. per 1500 sq. ft., it is a potent deterrent to grubs, cinchbugs, cutworms, and other soil insects.
